Hyena Gang are vicious humanoid mammal beasts that attack in large groups to hunt for prey. At some point before the story, Toriko and Rin fought a number of these creatures off while attempting to capture a Silk Bird Egg and with Rin's special perfumes they were easily able to knock them out.

Anime and Manga Differences
In the anime it is shown that one of them gave Rin the scar on her face. However in the manga it is implied that she gave herself the scar in order to imitate Toriko's three scars.
Trivia
- Their humanoid appearance and ability to hunt together in groups makes them similar to the reptile beasts known as Gang Hood.
