The Axe Ox (アックスオックス) is a mammal beast native to the 1st Biotope, with one inhabiting the dangerous Devil Athletics.
Anatomy
It is a large muscular bovine with red eyes and light-brown fur with dark brown spots. True to its name, this beast is has numerous metal axe-like horns and spikes growing along its body, having two axe-like horns on its head, two more on its neck, six large axe-like blades across its back and a double bladed axe on the tip of its tail.
Powers and Abilities
Its Capture Level of 22 seems to belie its strength, as it was able to exceed the physical power of a battered and winded Toriko.
History
Regal Mammoth Arc
Toriko encounters the Axe Ox with Rin on the second stage of the Devil Athletics. In his exhausted state, he had considerable difficulty contending with the beast but fortunately, Rin manages to knock it unconscious mid-charge with a large burst of her Super Relaxation Fragrance.
