Fuchsia City Gym

The Fuchsia City Gym (Japanese: セキチクシティ, Hepburn: Sekichiku City) is the Gym of Fuchsia City. In this Gym you face Poison-type Trainers, including the Gym Leader Koga (Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, LeafGreen, Let's Go, Pikachu!, Let's Go, Eevee!), or Janine (Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, SoulSilver). The trick is that there are invisible walls. In Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, LeafGreen, Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, these walls are perfectly invisible, in Gold, Silver and Crystal, if you look closely, you'll see dots which line the walls. In HeartGold and Soul Silver, If you bump into an invisible wall, it will reveal itself making it easier for you to navigate the gym. In Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Stadium 2, this gym had purple sludge pouring from out the windows. Defeat the Gym Leader and you get the Soul Badge.

Trivia

• Despite being a Poison-type Gym, most of the Trainers in the Gym in Generation I only use either Ground or Psychic-type Pokémon. The only Poison-type Pokémon used by the Trainers are Arbok. This is possibly due to the fact that players would probably use Ground or Psychic-type Pokémon as well due to those being Poison-types main weaknesses.
