Laser (レーザー Rēzā) is a Shooting action introduced in the first Medarot game alongside Beam that fires a laser beam. Generally, parts with Laser have high Power, but are slow and have low Success rate. Laser has the Optic attribute, so it can be cancelled by Void Optic and Optical Guard.

From Medarot 2 onward Laser attacks have the double of the Power from its part.

In Medarot DS Laser gained a piercing effect, carrying the remaining damage done to a destroyed part to other part.

From Medarot 7 onward Laser's mechanics changed. The attack's Power increases depending on how full the Medaforce gauge is, doubling when the gauge is full. It is weaker than Beam, but has a piercing effect.

In Medabots AX and Medarot G, Beam and Laser are the attacks with the longest range, being able to travel the whole arena, and the power increases the more it is changed. The user cannot move while charging Laser from the head or left arm, but movement is possible while charging Laser from the right arm.

In Medabots Infinity Laser is a long range attack that reflects on mirrors, but it cannot pierce enemies like Beam.

Trivia

  • In the English anime dub, some attacks and parts that use energy based attacks, such as Rifle and Gatling, were referred as lasers, but they are not related to the Laser attack.
