Random Block

A Random Block, is a type of Coin Block which appears in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

Description

Upon hitting a Random Block, it releases a coin, and either turn red and displays a "M", signaling for Mario to hit it, or green and displays an "L," signaling for Luigi to hit it. If the correct brother hits the block, another coin is released. It is random as to whether a Random Block changes between colors or stays the same color between each hit. After enough hits, the Random Block becomes an Empty Block.

In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, a Random Block is yellow with a dark yellow question mark within a white circle.
