Sharpea

Sharpeas are the Beanish counterpart of Spinies featured as enemies in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its Nintendo 3DS remake Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.

Battle

Sharpeas appear in the Beanbean Outskirts, where they are the first enemies. They are thrown by Lakipeas around the area. Before battle, if Mario/Luigi hammers the enemy, the Sharpea may be stunned for a while. Like other spiked enemies, if Mario/Luigi jumps on a Sharpea, he takes damage while the Sharpea remains unaffected, unless they have the correct clothing.

Strategy

Mario and Luigi can use the Hammer attack for the Sharpea to take regular damage. Using Spiny Badge A or Spiny Badge AA allows Mario or Luigi to deal more damage to Sharpeas.
