Glurp

A Glurp is an enemy appearing in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake. It is a blue gelatinous slime-like monster encountered only in Joke's End.

Battle

One of a Glurp's attacks is charging up and burping out a toxic pink cloud. Mario or Luigi must dodge the cloud by jumping over it, otherwise it may poison them. The other attack used by a Glurp is making its way up to Mario or Luigi to try and bite them, resulting in either brother's Defense being lowered. While a Glurp attempts this, Mario or Luigi can protect themselves from damage by hitting the Glurp with their hammer, resulting in it taking damage itself. While not an attack, there is a possibility of a Glurp dividing itself into two identical copies upon taking damage.

Glurps are extremely resistant to all Jump, solo Hammer, and regular Chopper Bros. attacks. Glurps can be defeated with other hammer attacks, although their main weaknesses are the Firebrand and Thunderhand attacks.
