A Lever Switch is an object in a few Super Mario series installments. They first appear in Super Mario Galaxy.
Description
Like switches in general, when a Lever Switch is pulled, a certain event occurs as a result. Lever Switches can have a variety of different effects, depending on where they are located. Some examples of a Lever Switch's effects are either turning on lights in dark areas or causing entire platforms to move forward or backward.
In Super Mario Galaxy, a Lever Switch can be activated by spinning into it. In Super Mario Galaxy 2, a Lever Switch can also be activated either with Yoshi's tongue or if the second player uses Co-Star Luma to spin into the Lever Switch. In Super Mario Odyssey, a Lever Switch can be activated by throwing Cappy at it.
