Cyber Slick are an unlockable set of tires in Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Kart Tour.
Description
The Cyber Slick's design is similar to the Slick tires, the only difference being that they have a purple and green color scheme.
In Mario Kart series
In both Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Cyber Slick can be unlocked by getting a certain amount of coins. It offers a slight boost in weight, while hindering acceleration slightly, and and traction heavily. Its stats are identical with the Slick tires. In terms of hidden stats, its water speed is slightly improved, while its air speed has been worsened, and its Mini-Turbo has also been lowered, in comparison to the Slick tires. In Deluxe, some of the Cyber Slick's tires are slightly altered. These tires are never used by CPU racers.
In Mario Kart Tour, the Cyber Slick tires are equipped on the Radish Rider, Dark Clown, and the Trickster.
Other appearances
In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, there is an icon of the Cyber Slick tires among several different Kart tires in the custom kart builder that the Kong Family had built in their Jungle Kingdom.
