A Spin Boost is a move in Mario Kart 8 and its Nintendo Switch version, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Description
A Spin Boost occurs only during anti-gravity segments, either from two drivers making contact or by touching a Spin Boost Pillar. Performing a Spin Boost causes a racer to spin, while a blue circle effect is shown, and gain a boost in speed. If it is two racers making contact, they propel slightly away from one another.
