Bone-Dry Dunes (written as Bone Dry Dunes in the British English version) is the second race track of the Special Cup in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Layout
Bone-Dry Dunes is mainly a desert-themed course, although unlike Dry Dry Desert, which gives off an Egyptian feel, this track is more like an Arabian town. There is also a structure near the beginning that resembles Dry Bowser.

In pop culture
There was a Twitter post from Nintendo UK who asked about one of the options that is a course in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. As a result, most people incorrectly respond to "Dry Bone Dunes".[1]
Trivia
- Bone-Dry Dunes' theme is a remix of Moo Moo Meadows theme.[dubious]
- Both of the soundtracks have the violin incorporated in the melody, although the violin in Bone-Dry Dunes' music has a brief melody.
- Dry Bones appear as obstacles, although in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, he is a playable character.
- After his appearance in 8 Deluxe, the staff ghost used Dry Bones for the 200cc Time Trials.
