Max Changmin (최강창민; also known as Max and Changmin) is a South Korean singer, actor, and lyricist under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the male duo TVXQ! and the project ballad group S.M. THE BALLAD.
He released his first Japanese solo debut mini album, Close To You, on November 18, 2015 and made his Korean solo debut on April 6, 2020 with the mini album Chocolate.
Personal life
Military service
On November 19, 2015, he enlisted for his military service.[1] He was discharged from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on August 18, 2017.[2]
Relationship
On December 30, 2019, SPOTV News reported that Max was dating a non-celebrity who was younger than him. SM later confirmed this report.[3]
On June 12, 2020, Max announced through a handwritten letter that he will be marrying his girlfriend on September 5 in a private wedding.[4] However, the wedding ceremony was moved to October 25 due to COVID-19 concerns.[5]
On October 18, 2022, it was announced that Changmin's wife gave birth to a boy the day before.[6]
