Career

2012: Debut with EXO

He debuted as a member of EXO and its sub-unit EXO-K on April 9, 2012 with the first mini album Mama.

2019: Debut with EXO-SC

On July 22, 2019, Chanyeol debuted as a member of the group's sub-unit EXO-SC with the mini album What a Life.

2024: Solo debut with Black Out

On May 8, 2024, SM Entertainment announced that Chanyeol will be debuting with his first mini album in the third quarter of the year.^[2] On July 27, it was confirmed that he will be debuting in August.^[3] On August 9, it was announced that Chanyeol will be debuting on August 28 with his first mini album, Black Out.^[4]

Personal life

Military service

Chanyeol enlisted as an active duty soldier on March 29, 2021.^[5][6] On September 23, it was announced that he was casted in the military musical Meissa's Song.^[7] He was then discharged on September 28, 2022.^[8][9]
