Humzees are hummingbird enemies appearing in the games Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. They try to collide and harm the Kongs upon contact by flying at straight lines.
Overview
Humzees are only found in the Ruins level Button Bash of the Donkey Kong Island. They appear inside a chamber containing a circular structure in the background, and located after the "K" of the K-O-N-G Letters. There, a few seconds after the chamber is closed, each of the six Humzees will enter the location by flying through walls and floor, and coming from the left, right and down directions. They move at short straight lines, pursuing and trying to hit the heroes. After each move, the Humzees will stop, stare at the Kongs for a few instants, and resume their attack. Being very small targets, they are hard to avoid and defeat. In order for the primates to progress by revealing Barrel Cannons inside the circular structure in the background of the chamber, the player must take down all six Humzees. Each of them can be defeated by the heroes using single roll or jump attacks on the enemies.
