"STILL TRY" is a song by Doja Cat. It was uploaded to her SoundCloud account on April 14, 2013; however, it was later taken down and currently remains lost. It was also intended to be on her scrapped debut mixtape, THE REBIRTH.

Background

Not much is known of the song as it was deleted before it was archived. However, Doja Cat made a Facebook post of the songs link, which showed the SoundCloud cover art, title and description. The upload was a teaser, as the title suggested ("STILL TRY x DOJA CAT // TEASER").^[1]

The song was a track on her (at the time) upcoming mixtape titled THE REBIRTH, which was scrapped. This is because the description of the upload was promoting the mixtape: " 'THE REBIRTH' ** MIXTAPE OUT AUGUST 2013 ** CREDITS TO THUNDER CAT AND YETI BEATS THANK YOU GUYS. "

On April 10, 2020, producer Thundercat tweeted "@DojaCat whatever happened to that song we did", with Doja replying "Idk I never finished the hook that shit was good though dm me". It's likely they weren't referring to this song and could've been "Love Letter", another Thundercat-produced track by Doja, or even an unknown unreleased track from that era.
