THE REBIRTH is the unreleased debut mixtape by Doja Cat. It was set to release in August of 2013; however, it was scrapped due to unknown reasons.
Background
The mixtape was possibly first mentioned in the description of her shortly deleted and lost SoundCloud song, "STILL TRY", where Doja announced in the description, "'THE REBIRTH' ** MIXTAPE OUT AUGUST 2013 ** CREDITS TO THUNDER CAT AND YETI BEATS THANK YOU GUYS." The song was uploaded on April 14, 2013, and was a teaser for the mixtape and the only known song to be part of it. The song and its description can be viewed via an old Facebook post from Doja but is unavailable for listening as it was taken down and now remains lost.
On December 4, 2013, under Doja's Instagram post where she previewed a snippet of "MVCE WINDU", a person in the comments asked "I'm still waitin on the tape to be dropped D; please hurrrryyyyyy", in which Doja replied with "if I rush you won't get anything good. patience. 😕".
