"Scared Snowman" is the second segment of the sixty-seventh episode of Vampirina. It is the second half of the seventeenth episode of the third season. It premiered on November 30, 2020.
Synopsis
When the Abominable Snowman arrives at the Scare B&B after a big snowstorm, Vee and her friends help him overcome some of his fears and discover that he’s much braver than he imagined.
Plot
Vampirina and her friends are playing a game when Demi notices the snowy weather. So, they'll have a snow day tomorrow. Oxana mentions that the abominable snowman will be arriving tomorrow. Vampirina hasn't met her, but knows that he can't be that scary. The snowman then arrives, and is very scared. Vampirina apologizes to him, and they introduce themselves. The snowman, who goes by Steve, states that surprises scare him. Oxana and Boris greet him, and Steve states that he came to the Scare B&B due to its reviews.
However, Steve gets nervous visiting new places, but he came to face his fears instead of running away from them. Steve mentions the many things he is scared of, and thinks of all the what ifs to fear. Vampirina decides for her friends to help Steve overcome his fears, and Bridget mentions what the fears Vampirina helped her overcome. Wolfie then arrives, and Steve is scared of him, but mentions that he is cute and hairy like him.
Vampirina and her friends accompany Steve to his room which they decorated like an ice cave. However, Steve is still scared of the ice bats in the room, but assumes that they're nothing to be afraid of. Steve is also scared when Chef Remy Bones appears, but decides to have the cupcakes so that he faces his fear, and he likes them. Steve is delighted about it when he bumps into a closet and is at first scared by Penelope who was in the closet, but greets him. They soon become friends, and Steve is ready to check out more of the Scare B&B.
Meanwhile, Wolfie, who has turned into a werewolf after drinking milk, scares Steve away after licking him. He is further scared when he sets loose more things that scare him, and assume that it was a bad idea before leaving. Vampirina and her friends try to call him back, and tell Oxana and Boris what happened. The storm is getting worse, but Oxana mentions that Steve is made for the weather, and the Hauntleys come inside for cocoa.
Demi mentions that the only thing that can go wrong during a snow day is when the power goes out, which is just what happens. Boris then goes to flip the switch on the power box to get the lights back on. He gets stuck in the show, and Oxana decides to fly there, but is unable to do due to the wind. Demi and Gregoria also fail. Vampirina mentions that what is needed is an abominable snowman, and decides for them to convince Steve to come back. Vampirina decides to bat-chat Steve, and tells him that he just got scared and the reasons to come back tonight.
Thanks to everyone's help, and being told about the different fears he faced previously, Steve returns and decides to be brave to flip the switch on the power box, restoring the power. Vampirina congratulates Steve, and he thanks the Hauntleys for the help. Steve then decides to stay for the night. Later, he thanks everyone for having him. Vampirina tells Steve that if he wants to stay a little while longer, they can spend the whole day together. Steve would like to, and Vampirina states that having new friends is nothing to be afraid of at all.
