Tarhn is a non-playable character who appears in Breath of Fire IV. She is the mother of Cray, who is the current chief of the Woren tribe during the events of the game.
Role in Breath of Fire IV

Although a human, Tarhn was the wife of the Woren's previous chief. However, it is never stated whether she is Cray's birth mother or if she married his father after his birth. When Cray became the new chief, Tarhn decided to leave Worent in order to live a nomadic existence on the Golden Plains. When Cray is imprisoned by the Ludians, the Woren elders advise Ryu and the party to seek out Tarhn.
Once Ryu reaches her camp and explains Cray's plight, Tarhn suggests having the smith at Mt. Glom craft a replica of the King's Sword in order to help exonerate Cray of some of the charges he's facing. This plan eventually leads to Cray's release. He later visits her in order to apologize for his actions.

When Nina suggests that Ryu is in actuality the dragon that the Empire is seeking, Tarhn gives the party Jadestone so that they can confer with the Wind Dragon. At one point, Scias remarks that Tarhn is the Grass Dragon priestess who cares for the shrine on the eastern edge of the plains, and indeed, she eventually gives the party directions to help them locate the Ch'o Ryong.
