Chibi Unity was a dance group from Season 18 of America's Got Talent. They finished in the Bottom 6 of the Top 11.
Background
A 27-member fusion dance crew from Niigata, Japan, Chibi Unity has been performing in competitions all over the globe. They were formed in 2017 when leader Rena Goto combined two different competitive dance troupes to become a supergroup that represents the best of the artistry and talent that Japan has to offer. Before performing on “AGT,” the crew repeatedly won VIBE JR, a junior-division dance competition dedicated to bringing local talent to a global audience. When they’re not competing or practicing, Chibi Unity hosts a number of workshops and online classes for dancers of all ages. They hope their group will inspire connections between people, cultures and countries through the art of dance. Chibi Unity was awarded the “America’s Got Talent” Group Golden Buzzer by impressing the judges and Terry with their unique and moving performance. The group hopes that their performance on “America’s Got Talent” will encourage other artists to spread their wings globally.
As juniors, they participated in the 4th season of World of Dance where they were eliminated in the Duels. When asked why they had come to perform on AGT, they stated that they were inspired to do so after having seen Season 17 winners Mayyas perform on and eventually win the show.

They advanced to the Finals along with Anna DeGuzman instead of Shadow Ace.

After the Show
In 2024, Chibi Unity auditioned for the 10th season of Spain’s Got Talent, where they performed a powerful dance routine set to Cleopatrick’s “Hometown”. Though Paula Echevarría & Florentino Fernandez attempted to convince the panel to hit the Platinum Buzzer to send them through to the Finals, it didn't work however despite this they ultimately advanced onto the following round with 4 ‘Yes’ votes from the judges.
The group initially did not reach the Semifinals, however they were bought back in place of Risto Mejide’s Golden Buzzer Kimberly Winter and may have been given his Golden Buzzer behind the scenes in her place despite the fact that he awarded it her in the auditions. In the Semifinals, their performance consisted of performing a powerful dance routine set to ONE OK ROCK's "Renegades". They would later advance to the Final through the public vote.
