Noodle and Bun

Noodle and Bun were a vocal duo from Season 18 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Deliberations.

Background

Animated singing cat Noodle and his dog pal Bun are the subject of a series of cartoon adventures in France, which originally started of as a viral web series. On his own, Noodle reached the finals of the 17th season of France's Got Talent, where his voice was revealed to be season 11 runner-up Mickaël Dos Santos, and reached the semifinals of the 16th series of Britain's Got Talent, where his voice was revealed to be series 15 and AGT All-Stars finalist Tom Ball. Whilst not competitng with Noodle prior to AGT, Bun accompanined him via audience cameos. When asked wherein he were from, Bun stated to be from Chino Hills, California.

Audition

Noodle and Bun's audition in Episode 1808 consisted of singing Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing". They were also accompanied by Bagel the pony, a recurring character from their show, on the drums. Throughout the performance, Noodle continuously fought Bun for the spotlight. All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending them to the next round.

Deliberations

Noodle and Bun were not chosen as one of the 55 acts to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating them from the competition.


Trivia

  • On the other Got Talents he appeared on, Britain's Got Talent and France's Got Talent, Noodle's voice actor was revealed during the live shows. However, given this is the first such instance he did not make it past the deliberations, his voice actor (or more specifically Bun's) was never revealed. It is rumored AGT season 11 and Champions 1 finalist Brian Justin Crum was the voice behind him.
  • Noodle and Bun are the very first animated contestants to audition for America's Got Talent.
