The T-62 Obr. 1975 is one of the many main battle tanks used by the Soviet Union in the Wargame series and was first made available in Wargame: European Escalation. This variant did not appear in Wargame: AirLand Battle, but made a comeback in Wargame: Red Dragon.
History
T-62 Obr. 1975 represents T-62s (mostly Obr. 1972) equipped with a KTD-1 or KTD-2 laser rangefinder in an armoured box over the main cannon to enhance accuracy, which is absent in-game. It has concealed bolts around the commander's cupola.
Overview
European Escalation
Improved main gun Accuracy, AP Power and Stabilizer compared with T-62 Obr. 1972, while other stats except the additional MG remained same with vanilla T-62 (Obr. 1960).
Red Dragon
Unlike T-62D, the T-62 Obr. 1975 as a more expensive Soviet unit cannot be deployed in the same quantity. Due to the presence of BMP-3 and BMPT, Obr. 1975 will not be needed as a fire support unit for infantry. For cheap tanks, recon T-55 may be a better choice.
