Mi-8MTV is a Soviet Transport Helicopter that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.
History
Mi-8MTV was the baseline of revised Mi-8 series. The V stood for "vysotniy (high altitude)". These helicopter were designed for "hot & high" conditions due to improved TV3-117VM turboshaft along with electro-hydraulic engine control system. Due to the Soviet experiences in Afghanistan additional armor, foam-filled fuel tanks, survivability upgrades along with rear mount for a PKT machine gun.
