Were-Claw

The Were-Claw is one of the Skills used by Sonic the Werehog in the Wii/PlayStation 2 version of Sonic Unleashed. It is unlocked after the player has collected 1,000 Dark Gaia Force Orbs on the Orb Result screen. When using this move, Sonic slashes his opponents while dashing.

Description

When performing this move, Sonic the Werehog makes a forward dash while crossing his hands in front of him, before violently slashing his claws to both sides in a quick and swift motion. This move does not only damage enemies, but can also easily make those Sonic hit dizzy. This added ability is a great advantage to have, especially when facing a large number of foes.

To perform the Were-Claw in gameplay on the Nintendo Wii version, the player has to press while dashing. To perform the Were-Claw in gameplay on the PlayStation 2 version, the player has to press / while dashing.

Trivia

• The player can not activate this move while in Unleashed Mode. If the player uses the controls to activate Were-Claw while in Unleashed Mode, the player will instead trigger the Claw Charge move.
