Wild Whirl

The Wild Whirl is one of the Skills used by Sonic the Werehog in both the Wii/PlayStation 2 version and the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed. When using this move, Sonic attacks with a combo of wide slashes.

Description

Xbox 360/PlayStation 3

In the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed, the Wild Whirl is one of Sonic's Hook Attack Skills. When performing this move, Sonic first does two forward and extended vertical slashes with his left and right hand. He then enlarges his right fist and stretches out his right arm as he spins clockwise around himself, striking his foe(s) with a back hand punch from his right fist. While keeping his right arm outstretched, Sonic immediately after spins around himself counter-clockwise while slashing out in a wide circle.

The Wild Whirl is available from the start of the game. It is executed by pressing / in quick succession. This attack covers a wide range, but does not deal very much damage.

Wii/PlayStation 2

In the Wii/PlayStation 2 version of Sonic Unleashed, the Wild Whirl is performed by executing a four hit combo, then swinging the Wii Remote and Nunchuck in the Wii version or by pressing in the PlayStation 2 version. When performing this move, Sonic performs a double wild spin with both arms outstretched.
