A well-meaning girl with the unfortunate habit of causing disaster at nearly every turn. Nagi dreams of growing up to be a wonderful young lady, just like her sister Rudi.
Growing up in Adabat, Nagi looked up to her big sister Rudi and dreamt of becoming just a wonderful young lady as she was. While working at home, Nagi was well-meaning in her efforts, but she would often mess stuff up and make it worse. During the events of Sonic Unleashed, Nagi learned Dark Gaia's Minions had appeared in the nearby forest and deemed it too dangerous to enter.
Later on, Nagi met Sonic the Hedgehog and Chip ´when they first arrived in Adabat, where she asked them what they were doing and warned them not to get near the forest due to the "monsters." Later the same evening, Nagi heard noises coming from the forest (created by Sonic the Werehog) and went to take a look, where she saw fallen trees and that the ridge was broken, before then returning to Adabat. Later, Nagi saw Sonic the Werehog and Chip exit the forest, and she asked them if they were okay. Nagi then told them what she had seen in the forest and that she thought a super-strong gorilla that had caused the destruction.
Later on, Nagi met Sonic and Chip again, where she realized that an item in Kaeo's shop resembled Chip, and told Chip that she had seen him at her brother's shop.
At some point after, Nagi became possessed by Dark Gaia's Minions, which made her proud of the accidents she caused and desiring to cause more during nighttime, but she would then revert back to normal during daytime. As an effect of her possession, Nagi constantly felt sleepy, no matter how much she slept. During this period, whenever Nagi met Sonic and Chip during the day, she would tell them about how tired she was and feared that she would break the dishes or something when helping Rudi. Whenever Nagi met Sonic and Chip during nighttime in this period, however, due to the influence of Dark Gaia's Minions, Nagi would tell them about how she purposely broke dishes and her chores being a drag, before wondering what to do next.
Over the next period, Nagi continued to switch between her mood as daytime and nighttime, until she was exorcised by Sonic the Werehog and Chip when they returned. As she regained her senses, Nagi told Sonic and Chip that her head felt a lot clearer while believing that she could now get some sleep.
A while later, Nagi met Sonic and Chip again during the day, where she asked Sonic why it was that he was traveling. However, as Sonic told her he was trying to fix the planet, Nagi just thought he was joking. During the following nighttime, Nagi met Sonic (now in his Werehog form) again and asked him why it was that he did not smile very often. As Nagi took a closer look on his mouth, thinking something was wrong with it, she was scared when she saw Sonic the Werehog's fangs.
Later on, during Sonic and Chip's battle with Dark Gaia, Nagi and the rest of her village felt the tremors from Chip calling the local Gaia Temple to him.
Wii/PlayStation 2
In the beginning of Sonic Unleashed, Nagi's and the rest of her family's ancestral home was destroyed in the earthquakes created from Dark Gaia's awakening. As such, Nagi and her family was forced to move to the stilt house village of Adabat.
When Sonic the Werehog and Chip first arrived in Adabat, Nagi greeted them and asked if they could understand could her. As they confirmed it, Nagi asked Chip what his name was, and after hearing it, she told him that it was nice to meet him, before noting that Chip looked like one of the dolls they sold in the gift shops. Later, during the daytime, Nagi met Sonic and Chip again, where she told Sonic (now having reverted back to normal) that he looked much softer now.
Later on, Nagi met Sonic and Chip again, where she asked Chip how he was doing and told them that he looked cute. Telling Chip that she hoped they could be friends forever, she gave Chip Soundtrack 45, as she wanted him to have it.

Personality
Nagi is a friendly, eager and well-meaning individual, but is also very accident-prone. Nagi looks up to her big sister Rudi, and hopes that she grows up to be a fine woman like her.
Unlike the other members of her family, whose names originates from Thailand, Nagi's name in Thai ("นาคี") is of Malaysian roots. It can also refer to the name of the female Nāga, the great sea-serpent that appears in Hindu mythology.
