Description The Ice Springs resemble the early Springs , being circular panels with a spring underneath each of them. As their name implies, the Ice Springs are made entirely of light blue ice.
Overview In the gameplay of Sonic Mania Sonic Mania Plus Spring in the game and is used in the same manner, although it does not offer a very high bounce in many cases. What distinguishes this Spring however, is that after using it once, it will disintegrate into nothing, making it unusable. Also, the playable character will also retain his Spin Attack state should he use the Spring in this state.
Ice Springs are only encountered in Press Garden Zone Act 2. In some cases, they are encased in ice blocks, which must be shattered before they become usable. Also, their fragility are in some cases used to make them one-time blockades for paths the player can pass through.
