Nova is one of the characters from pop'n music 20 fantasia's, and is one of the two new characters who promoted the Boku mo Watashi mo★Pop'n Artist! (ボクもワタシも★ポップンアーティスト!?) contest.

It was cool and elegant when I listened to it, and emits an explosive shine... and it feels like it has a super high difficulty level. I tried to pack all this into the character.
Since the song title is Southern Cross, the setting of the character in charge is "a great space composer, racing through space"!! That's right.
The brand-new opening movement that he releases, wraps around outer space... it's, it's like this!

The shining light he noticeably unleashes in the night sky as his FEVER animation is said to be the "Ultimate Southern Cross", a supernova explosion which is similar to a dazzling shine wrapped around the galaxy.

This was the first commemorative original song to be released, and even without knowing the title, it directly conveyed an image of sparkling and falling stars.
It's very difficult when you think about what form you want to convey.
I'm sure there's unseen effort in the shadows of beautiful things, but I felt a professionalism which consumes players without them feeling it.
I had a slightly late start in coming up with character ideas, but before I participated, tokky and shio just created a super special move called "Ultimate!! Southern Cross!!".
Like stars in the night sky connecting to form constellations, I created a character in the image of connecting this brilliant song which feels like racing around space, with a super special move.
Finally, this move can't be used until the beautiful cross and character perfectly overlaps, so a slender silhouette is inevitable.
This song has the opposite image of the simultaneously released "Like a pop'n music", so even though the characters are in the same Pop'n World, I wanted this character to be at the limit, that if I went further than this, it wouldn't be pop'n anymore.

Appearance
Nova appears as a pale-skinned man with light blond hair that's formed into a thin white-tipped ponytail that reaches his thighs. He also has a curly ahoge and teal eyes. His attire consists of pale yellow gloves, a light gray jumpsuit that fades into a darker shade of gray with stars and heeled shoes, and a light green cape. He has a drooped bow that hangs on the top of his jumpsuit. In his Win animation, Nova changes into an outfit consisting of dark green top with light green shoulder pads and gloves, pale yellow pants, gray boots that fade into white, a white tie with a large gem, and a white coat with two long pieces in the front and light blue, white trimmed coattails. His original palette appears in Sephirot from pop'n music éclale, in nalca from pop'n music うさぎと猫と少年の夢, in Northern Cross from pop'n music Lively, and in astral_dismantle from pop'n music Jam&Fizz.
Nova's 2P appearance shifts his hair to white, while the tip of his ponytail is blue gray. His jumpsuit and eyes are both puce colored, and his cape is deep blue. It appears again in asteer from pop'n music éclale.

Nova appears in the pop'n music ラピストリア card collection on a change card. He's shown with his hair down, and fading into light green instead of white. He has a light green loose-fitting top with short sleeves and a ruffled collar, worn with a long white tie. He sports navy blue frilled pants with four buttons on his stomach and light brown slippers. His 2P palette is used for asteer from pop'n music éclale.
