Eske is a playable character introduced in Metal Slug: Awakening.
Character Summary
I never do bad things unless someone pays me a lot of money.
The son of Caroline, an archaeologist (Vitins culture), polar explorer, president of the Ice Pole Alliance, he is also the elder brother of Freyja. He was separated from his family due to a polar storm when he was young and was adopted by the Ice Pole Hunter Radel. As an adult, Eske embarked on a journey to find his mother and sister. By chance, he became a mercenary. For safety reasons, he hid his identity. Eske used his weapon's name Javelin as a code name.
During the journey, he worked with the Alloy Squad to activate the ice source and defeated the conspiracy of Morden and Concerian. Soul Link
Eske pulls targets in a fan-shaped area in front of him inwards, dealing 400% ATK damage to pulled targets, while also applying [Soul Link] and stun (not effective in Arena mode).
- Passive: When Eske is in the team, all heroes in the squad trigger [Chain Lightning] when hitting targets with weapons: Bounces 100% of the damage to nearby targets and applies [Soul Link] to the target, with a cooldown of 3 seconds.
- Soul Link: When linked units take weapon damage, they conduct 60% of the damage to themselves and other linked enemies (this damage won't trigger conduction again, and the maximum number of linked conduction targets is 5), lasting for 10 seconds.
Electromagnetic Storm
Eske throws an electromagnetic beacon forward, which constantly accelerates and rotates, pulling enemies in a super large range. Pulled targets receive 150% of ATK as damage and are afflicted with Enhanced Soul Link: The efficiency of damage conduction is 200% of normal Soul Link. Beacon overheating explosion deals 1,800% of ATK as wide-range damage.
Electromagnetic Cloud lingers on the entire screen for 10 seconds: Enemy targets within the cloud range have their MSPD greatly reduced and take 50% increased damage. For every 10% of Debuff Bonus DMG attribute, targets within the electromagnetic cloud take an additional 1% increased damage.

- Nearby targets with [Soul Link] effect provide 18% DMG Bonus. Adding extra 1% DMG bonus for every 5% PEN attribute.
Chain Effect
- [Chain Lightning] bounce damage is extra increased by 100%, and the triggering CD is reduced to 2s. Every 5 times [Chain Lightning] is triggered, current character's skills CD is reduced by 5s. (Not effective in Arena Game Modes)
Full-Power Warrior
- When the whole team's characters consume Enhanced Weapons, get 1 stack of Enhanced Weapon Effect, with a CD of 4s. For every stack of Enhanced Weapon Effect got by the whole team, the character gets 4% damage up for 10s, stacking up to 5 stacks.
