Information
The Berua is a golden, mechanical phoenix that serves as the guide leading mortals to the underworld. It is seen flying around scorching fire at the ground and shooting its feather quills at anyone who dare disturb its territory. Its second form changes its color into fiery red and projects a illusion of itself that attacks by diving into the ground.
According to ancient literature of Kemut, it is a soul embodiment of the Sun God. Its name means "the brilliant renewal of life." It is said to lead lost souls across the River Styx to meet Osiris, god of fertility, for rebirth into the next life. A guide for the deceased, it drives all living things out of the mausoleum by instinct.
it's one of the three containers Sid stole from the underground palace in King's Valley when he defected to Morden, and one of the first successful batches of artificial Crystal Beast. it has been kept in a secret factory that produces cores in order to test it's stability. just like all the other mythical creatures of Kemut, it was created during the great fabrication but has fallen into endless long sleep due to the loss of energy.
