Louise (ルイーズ/Ruīzu) is a new character introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Character Summary
Louise excels in scouting for the Regular Army, and often goes on solo excursions. She is armed with a sniper rifle and also carries a radio to call in airstrikes on targets.
She was in a relationship with Bersek, but he mysteriously disappeared, leaving her heartbroken. Initially she spent most of her time finding out where he went, believing that he was still on Earth and sought him to no avail.
Story

First debuting in "Tropical Battles", Louise recalls an incident three years ago where she was wounded in a mission. Bersek found and treated her injuries. During the night, they heard hostiles outside, and Bersek went out to confront them, despite Louise's protests. Louise would eventually be found, though she is clearly troubled with Bersek's fate and began her search for him. She observes Rita's battle against Towa and reports it to Sophia. Sophia suggests that she should find some closure with the other girls since she has not found Bersek, but she refuses and resumes her search for him.
Sometime later, Louise has a funny intuition that Bersek has returned to Earth and has Reika come with her to investigate an island. They soon find a destroyed ship, and Louise recognizes the work as Bersek's. Though relieved he is still alive, Reika prevents her from tracking him as there were signs of an Invader with him.
Bersek later returns to Earth with another Invader called Ai Agate when they attack one of their bases, where she is shocked to learn that Bersek is still alive. After they destroy a Regular Army Helicopter and several drill machines, Eri orders a retreat, although Louise is in a state of shock. Agate notices Louise and prepares to attack, but Bersek sends her away so he could talk with her. Bersek comforts her, where she breaks down in tears seeing that it's actually him. He explains to her that he intends to stay with the Invaders to destroy them from the inside, where she expresses an intent to join him, but he denies her request out of her safety but promises to return once the job was done. Eri, noticing her falling behind, spots her with Bersek and attacks him to save her, unaware of who he is as she cries out his name as he leaves.
Trivia
- Her bomber run special attack could be referenced to Natasha Volkova from Command & Conquer Red Alert 3.
- Despite her sprites showing her hair color as a greenish one, her illustration shows a darkish green hair.
