The Goddess Ancor (安可女神) is an unused character in Metal Slug: Awakening. She was originally one the main protagonists of the game's main story in early beta tests before being replaced by Elia for the final release.
Information
Ancor is a friendly fairy, spirit-like being that resides in the the land of Kemter. She can transform between a elf and a human. When as a human, she is dressed with an explorer outfit and holds an ankh on her hand.
Story
After learning about Donald Morden's new plan of leading his army and invade the legendary land of Kemter, a massive desert filled with ancient beings and untouched treasures, the Regular Army dispatches the Peregrine Falcon Squad and SPARROWS units to the land to investigate. Marco Rossi attempts to land on the center of the desert but fails, and the Arabian Tears fall from his hands. Ancor senses the treasure's presence and flies over to an unconscious Marco. Before the goddess could retrieve the treasure, Marco's phone rings, prompting the Goddess to hide.
Marco regains consciousness and defeats the Elder Centipede, one of the mutant creatures that resides in Kemter, after its sudden appearance. Having witnessed the whole battle, Ancor decides to reveal and introduce herself to Marco as she learns that he isn't a bad guy. Marco befriends the goddess with the latter happily guiding him through his journey through the dangerous insides of Kemter.
