If you'd like to cross the bridge, you must answer a delicious riddle!
Trollie, "Everyday I'm Riddlin' Riddlin'"
Trollie is a recurring character in the series Kiff. He is a bridge troll who tells riddles by the riddling bridge in Table Town.
Profile

Trollie is a bridge troll who guards the designated "riddling bridge" in downtown Table Town, which he only allows people to cross if they can answer his riddles.
Before moving downtown, Trollie guarded a bridge in the deserted Outskorts of Table Town. He has been riddling since ancient times and strictly abides by "troll rules"; only someone who stumps him with a riddle can force him to leave his bridge, and furthermore, he cannot give a riddle to anyone who manages to bypass him and cross.[1]
Appearance
Trollie is a tall and big-bodied troll with green skin and orange hair, as well as pointed ears and a pointed nose. He is typically seen wearing blue shorts and a necklace with a curved white pendant.
Personality

Trollie spends most of his day guarding his bridge and posing riddles to people who want to cross. A person must answer Trollie's riddle correctly to be let through; otherwise, Trollie throws the person into a nearby ditch for answering incorrectly. His riddles are extremely difficult to guess correctly, but mostly because the answers he expects are often bizarre to the point of being unguessable using any traditional logic.
At some point after the events of "Everyday I'm Riddlin' Riddlin'", Trollie joined the Table Town Riddler's Society. However, he has since declared that he is "done" with them, following an argument at a potluck in which the other members accused him of not carrying his weight in the group.[2]
Relationships
Kiff Chatterley and Barry Buns

In "Everyday I'm Riddlin' Riddlin'", Kiff and Barry spot a lonely Trollie under a bridge in the Outskorts. Out of pity, the two take him to the downtown bridge instead, but his absurd riddles end up preventing anybody from crossing. When not even the Riddler's Society are able to create an unsolvable riddle to make Trollie leave, Kiff creates a riddle about Trollie and his riddles: "The riddles cannot be answered, but there's a way to get to the other side. What is it?" Trollie says that the answer is to build another bridge; Glarbin then argues that this is incorrect due to the need for proper engineering and taxpayer money to build a second bridge, so Trollie proves him wrong by building a bridge by himself, which allows everyone to finally get to the other side.

Kiff and Barry cross the riddling bridge in "I Like to Move It!" to support Trollie. This time, he gives them a riddle which they easily solve, and admits that he is having an off day due to his recent departure from the Riddler's Society on bad terms. Trollie helps Kiff and Barry carry their piano across the bridge and advises them to reconsider their wish for a trampoline due to its difficult-to-insure nature.
In "Lore of the Ring Light", Trollie gives a riddle to a possessed Terri on the riddling bridge, preventing Terri from crossing and buying Kiff and her friends enough time to escape from her. However, his forceful jump onto the bridge creates a hole through which he and Principal Secretary end up falling.

Trivia
- He does not introduce himself by name when he first meets Kiff and Barry, with the two seemingly arriving at the name "Trollie" by themselves. In any case, he has since then referred to himself exclusively by that name.
