Crossblades is a minor character from the Transformers franchise. He was based on a character from the 1989 toyline.
Biography
Crossblades made his sole appearance in Marvel US Issue #67, where he was one of a small group of surviving Autobots led by Prowl in an alternate future where Unicron had destroyed Cybertron and the Decepticons had conquered North America. With the European forces preparing to launch a nuclear strike in an attempt to wipe out the Decepticons, and Galvatron having set up a power siphon to convert the nuclear power into a new energy source, the surviving Autobots and their human allies prepared to make a last desperate strike on Galvatron's base to convince the rest of the world there was still a chance they could win.
While Getaway, Guzzle and Chainclaw started a fight in the surrounding forest to lure the attention of many of the Decepticons, Crossblades was given the role of destroying the base's shield generator so the rest of the group could launch their attack. However, he came under attack from an airborne Decepticon contingent comprising Laserbeak, Astrotrain and Octane. Badly damaged and out of control, he nevertheless managed to crash into the shield generator, destroying it as he was also killed in the explosion.
