Big Shot

Big Shot is a minor character in Generation One of the Transformers franchise. He was based on a figure from the 1989 toyline and is the leader of the Battle Patrol.

Marvel Comics

Big Shot only appeared in the UK-exclusive stories. In "A Small War", he was introduced as one of the first Micromasters serving Emirate Xaaron on Cybertron. He and the rest of the Battle Patrol were sent to infiltrate a Decepticon base to find details of a new secret weapon. However, they quickly learned that the secret weapon was Decepticon Micromasters, and they had been lured there so the Decepticons could capture and analyse them to perfect the technology. Big Shot was under standing orders to use a self-destruct button to destroy the Patrol to avoid this very outcome but opted not to use it and to go down fighting, only for him and the rest of the patrol to be quickly overpowered by Thunderwing. They were eventually rescued by Roadhandler, Powertrain and Seawatch, but not before the Decepticons had got the information they wanted.

The post-movie version of the character appeared in "The Void" as one of the Autobots under Rodimus Prime's command who evacuated the Decepticon-held Cybertron for Earth.
