Momentum is a Sync Skill in Fire Emblem Engage. It can be used when a character has equipped the Ring of the Holy Knight.

Overview

Momentum is a Sync Skill unique to Emblem Sigurd that grants an additional point of attack to the user's first attack during combat for each space moved before attacking. This bonus goes up to a maximum of 10 additional attack for the first tier of the skill, but the second tier drops the maximum limit entirely. A unit can inherit the skill for use permanently if they develop their bond levels with Sigurd and then spend SP to acquire it.

If unit initiates combat after moving to a different space, triggers the following effects depending on unit's equipped Special: if unit has an area-of-effect Special equipped, grants Special cooldown count-X to unit before Special triggers before combat (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials); if unit has a Special that triggers when unit attacks (excluding area-of-effect Specials), grants Special cooldown count-X to unit before unit's first attack during combat (if number of spaces from start position to end position ≥ 3, X = 2; otherwise, X = 1).
