A team (チーム chīmu) is an association of LRIG that forms the basic division of decks in the Diva Selection format.
Each team has three LRIG types associated with it. LRIG cards released in Diva Selection are labeled with their team at the center-right area of the card, above its LRIG type. Players in Diva Selection are intended to use all three LRIG of a certain team as their center and assist LRIG, although a player can use any three LRIG as their center and assist LRIG regardless of team. Any of the team's LRIG can be used as the center LRIG.
Teams have no direct effect on gameplay, and it is not required that your center and assist LRIG be all part of the same team. However, certain cards have a 
icon; these cards require that all three of your LRIG be of the specified team to be fully functional. Some cards, like PIECEs, require the team condition to be satisfied to be used, while other cards, like LRIG and SIGNI, require the team condition to be fulfilled for their 
, 
, 
, and 
abilities to be active. Note, however, that a LRIG or SIGNI with a icon can still be used in any deck without having to assemble the full team.
Not all LRIG available in Diva Selection are part of a team. LRIG from the selector and Lostorage series released in later Diva Selection sets do not have an associated team.
A player can grow LRIG without a team into LRIG with a team, and vice-versa.
Team PIECEs and Dream Team
Team PIECEs (チームピース Chīmu Pīsu) are PIECEs with a condition as part of their use conditions. They are indicated by the icon.
Certain PIECEs have the 
(ドリームチーム Dorīmu Chīmu) condition. Unlike regular team PIECEs, Dream Team PIECEs do not require that all three of your LRIG be of a certain team; you may fulfill the condition with any three LRIG. However, you may only include one PIECE that is a Team PIECE or Dream Team PIECE in your LRIG Deck.
Note that Dream Team PIECEs are not considered team PIECEs, as they do not specifically have the icon. Dream Team PIECEs are not counted as team PIECEs for the purposes of Eternal♡Immortal Kyurukyurun☆.
