Soul

Soul (ソウル, Sōuru) is a mechanic associated with the team Deus Ex Machina. It allows Deus, Ex and Machina to attach LRIG cards from underneath themselves to your SIGNI.

Each level 3 Deus Ex Machina LRIG has an ability that attaches Souls to your SIGNI. Level 1 and 2 Deus Ex Machina LRIGs give abilities to SIGNI they are attached to as Souls, although level 0 LRIGs can be attached to SIGNI as a Soul as well with no inherent effect. Certain SIGNI, like Obelisk, Code: Anti, have abilities that activate when a Soul is attached to them.

A SIGNI can have up to one Soul attached to it at a time. When a SIGNI with a Soul attached to it leaves the field, the Soul is put into the LRIG Trash.
