Shadow (シャドウ Shadō) is a keyword ability first appearing in WX-15 Incited Selector. It appears in multiple colors, but is primarily associated with white.
The current reminder text for Shadow is:

Shadow prevents your SIGNI from being targeted by your opponent's effects, such as "vanish target SIGNI on your opponent's field." However, effects that don't target, such as "vanish all of your opponent's SIGNI", can affect SIGNI with Shadow. Some cards have Shadow-X rather than the regular Shadow ability, which indicates that they can't be targeted by whatever X is (i.e. a card with Shadow-Spell can't be targeted by the opponent's spells).
Shadow will also prevent SIGNI from being targeted by Life Bursts. For example, Zhao Yun, Blessed General, which has Shadow-Level two or less SIGNI, cannot be chosen by the Life Bursts of your opponent's level two or less SIGNI cards.
Before the introduction of the "target" keyword in Diva Selection, Shadow's reminder text specified that your opponent could not choose SIGNI with Shadow, which prevented your opponent from choosing them with effects such as "vanish a SIGNI on your opponent's field."
