Rick (Mikku in Japanese) is a young male centaur knight and a member of the Shining Force in Shining Force II.
Background
Rick is always looking for interesting sights. He went to Hassan and found out the town was dull. Then he met Bowie and decided to join the Force to see cool things like the Caravan.
Personality
Rick is a curious and bright-eyed youth, and eager to explore the world around him to see cool new things. He's also very proud of his Centaur heritage.
Strategy
Rick is the second Centaur Knight to join and is slightly stronger then Chester. He acts as the successor to Mae from the previous game and has potential to compete with late-game Centaur knight characters. Pre-promotion he experiences a sharp increase in stats, but soon wanes off in all but speed.
Promoting him to Paladin or Pegasus Knight is just as viable due to his status as mid-Knight and is just as considerable for either class as Eric is. His HP stat is high but will cut off most of its growth late game. While the growth of his defense is high, his attack stat wanes over time. He will, however, experience a sharp speed growth late game.He has no real solid stand out quality compared to Eric or Higins and acts as a "extra" knight for players fond of the Knight class. Due to his low attack growth, he can often end up with less attack than Chester.
