Mitula is a goddess who takes an unusually active hand in the affairs of the Shining universe, ruling the nation of Tristan and playing significant roles in the games Shining Force II and Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict.
Background
Judging by her appearance and by the drought which afflicts Tristan while she is sealed in the Ground Orb, Mitula is a goddess of crops and weather. For reasons that have not been revealed, she chose the people of Tristan as her own and has resided there as their ruler, presumably since the nation was founded.
