Elric (Porunarefu, or Polnaref, in Japanese) is a young elf Archer and a member of the Shining Force in the game Shining Force II.
Background
Elric was caught by the harpies in the Harpy Pool when he was going after Fairy to save a sick dwarf.
Personality
Elric is a nice elf who is always ready to help those in need.
Strategy
Elric acts as the game's early archer. He can be promoted to Sniper and have a high projected agility or Brass Gunner to have a high projected defense. Pre-promotion, his stats experience a sharp increase over time, but his speed wanes. Post promotion he experiences a sharp HP increase as the game goes on and has steady, but low attack. As a Brass Gunner, he will possibly be the best archer in the game.
Since he is an Elf, he fares well in the Forest area which renders May useless.There is very little difference between him and Rohde overall, and both have lower attack than May.
