Frayja (Sharoru in Japanese and Sharol in the English language manual) is a male Human Vicar class and a member of the Shining Force in the game Shining Force II.
Background
In order to save North Parmecia and avoid a Devil invasion, Frayja locked Moun's gate sacrificing its people. Ever since he has been living with a guilty conscience under Pacalon's protection.
Personality
Frayja is a faithful Vicar who is willing to make sacrifices for greater causes.

Powers & Magic
Frayja is the second healer (third healer if you chose Karna at Creed's) the player can recruit. He comes pre-promoted as a Vicar. His big thing is Aura lvl.4, and with it, he's able to carry the Shining Force through the final battles of the game. Growth-wise, he experiences a steady growth of HP and MP and also gains a sharp increase in defense over time, which really helps his staying power.
Though Karna can also learn Aura lvl.4, he learns it much earlier then she does and, due to his class not being the greatest at front-lining, is likely to spend more time using it.
He is the weakest of the healers as a fighter and does not like going up front. As he is already promoted, he cannot become a Master Monk, which means the only option is to guard him with caution. This limits his playing style.
As the player potentially has access to 2 other healers(if they chose Karna) by the time he joins, working Frayja into a team can be difficult if the player has already built a reliable team around said healers.Quotes
