Shifty greets the ninja to his shop although Nya doesn't appreciate it when he calls her a flower. Shifty offers the ninja a grappling hook for a reasonable price due to a discount from Nya. He then shows them the "Rope of Supreme Durability" and the "Rope of Questionable Integrity". Kai thinks it's a no-brainer and picks the first option, but Shifty asks for a price the ninja can't pay. The ninja argue whether they should take the worse rope and are forced to take it when the Red Visors show up.
While Shifty is cleaning his shop, a Red Visor's helmet comes flying down. He then picks it up and places it on a rack for sale.
