Engelbert was talking to an old woman when the mine carts and Stone Mech shoot out of the ground. Engelbert was shocked and passed out after he saw Adam.

Behind the scenes
- In the Latino/Latin Spanish dub, he was voiced by César Arias, an actor who passed away on December 20, 2020. However, the episode was released posthumously on May 7, 2021. Additionally, César was the first voice of Wu from the pilot episodes until "Never Trust a Snake."
Trivia
- He looks almost exactly like Vangelis, except that he has gray hair and wrinkles, and is missing the symbol on his forehead.
- After being asked if he survived the Merge, Chris "Doc" Wyatt joked: "Dude was so old, do we even know if he survived up to the Merge?"[1]
