On March 21, Koko was revealed as a contestant on I-LAND2: N/α, through the “DDU-DU DDU-DU (Remix)” performance video.[1] Her applicant profile was released on the I-LAND X account and MNet I-LAND 2 Website on March 22, 2024.[2][3]
I-LAND 2 Overview
Episode 1
Koko ranked 5th in the pre-show Self-Evaluation. During the entrance test, she performed Baggy Jeans by NCT U with Yui and Nam Yuju. She got 3/5 Is, and therefore got into I-LAND.
Episode 2
Koko originally got assigned Part 12, but later got Part 9 for the I-LAND signal song performance. The team average for the FINAL LOVE SONG performance was 84, meaning three I-Landers would be dropped to the Ground, but Koko got 3 votes, meanning she got to stay in I-LAND.
Seesaw Game
Koko performed Panorama by IZ*ONE with Mai, Son Juwon, Jeong Saebi, Choi Soul and Choi Jungeun, and got an individual score of 88. The Panorama team won the I-LAND Seesaw battle, and therefore Koko stayed in I-LAND.
