On March 21, Jiwon was revealed as a contestant on I-LAND2: N/α, through the “LAW” performance video. Her applicant profile was released on the I-Land X account and the MNet Plus I-Land website on March 22, 2024.[1][2]
I-LAND 2 Overview
Entrance Test
Jiwon ranked 23rd in the pre-show Self-Evaluation. During the entrance test, she performed After LIKE by IVE with Fuko, Kim Chaeeun, Park Yeeun and Kim Gyuri. She only got 1/5 Is, and therefore was moved into Ground.
Signal Song
Jiwon performed the signal song with the other trainees from Ground. The team average for the FINAL LOVE SONG performance was 84, meaning three I-Landers would be dropped to the Ground. Jiwon was not chosen to go up to I-LAND, and stayed in Ground.
Seesaw Game
Jiwon performed Bad Boy by Red Velvet with Fuko, Nana, Lingling, Park Yeeun and Um Jiwon, and got an individual score of 63. The Bad Boy team got a team score of 459, and therefore won the Ground Seesaw battle, meaning Jiwon got moved up to I-LAND.
Unit Battle
Jiwon was part of the Creative Unit, and she performed Rain On Me with Mai, Choi Soul, Lingling, Park Yeeun, Nana and Jeong Saebi. The I-LAND Creative Unit got a score of 84, meaning they won the Creative Unit battle, but Jiwon got one of the lowest individual scores in I-LAND, and therefore moved to the Ground, and was sadly eliminated from the show.
