Kim Minsol (Hangul: 김민솔) is a South Korean trainee and contestant on I-LAND2: N/α. She was revealed on March 21, 2024.
She was also a former contestant on the MBC survival show, My Teenage Girl.
History
2021: My Teenage Girl
Minsol appeared as a contestant on the MBC survival show My Tenage Girl. She was eliminated during the third episode, and was part of Grade 1.
2024: I-LAND2: N/α
On March 21, Minsol was revealed as a contestant on I-LAND2: N/α, through the “Pep Rally” performance video.[1] Her applicant profile was released on the I-Land X(Twitter) account and the Mnet Plus I-Land website on March 22, 2024.[2][3]
I-LAND 2 Overview
Entrance Test
Minsol ranked 12th in the pre-show Self-Evaluation. During the entrance test, she performed UNFORGIVEN by LE SSERAFIM with Son Juwon, Ryu Sarang and Um Jiwon. She got 4/5 Is, and therefore got into I-LAND, but was later moved to the Ground, after an anonymous voting amongst the I-Landers.
Signal Song
Minsol performed the signal song with the other trainees from Ground. The team average for the FINAL LOVE SONG performance was 84, meaning three I-Landers would be dropped to the Ground. Minsol was one of the three Grounders that got chosen to go up to I-LAND.
Seesaw Game
Minsol performed Whistle by BLACKPINK with Bang Jeemin, Kim Sujung, Nam Yuju, Ryu Sarang and Yui, and got an individual score of 68. The Whistle team lost the I-LAND Seesaw battle, and therefore Minsol was moved to the Ground.
