—Dryas to Leif
Dryas is the Duke of Leonster in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 and the father of Selphina. He lost his right arm during a battle in Ulster. Alongside August, he serves as Leif's tactician.
Profile
Before the events of Thracia 776, Dryas had been training young Leonster knights under the protection of Hannibal of southern Thracia. While acting as Leif's tactician, he notably had a number of disagreements with August; for example, he recommended taking the heavily defended northern path into Leonster, riding the banner of Leonster to bring hope to the oppressed people, while August suggested going through the less-defended southern forests, which would be easier to take advantage of.
Dryas sacrifices his life for Leif during the attack on Ulster, leading the first wave after Leif stubbornly insisted on attempting to liberate Ulster right after reclaiming Leonster. Both he and August were willing to make this ultimate sacrifice, which shows a final reconciliation despite their disagreements in the past.
