—Bucks' battle quote
Bucks is an enemy character in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. He is a bandit who fights for Lifis. August begged for Bucks to leave villagers alone but Bucks would not listen to reason. Leif reaches him and then fights him. The young lord then either kills Bucks or lets him go. If let go, Bucks says he will give up pirating and become a fisherman.

Bucks' stats are not that great. However, he is on a Gate, giving him essentially 18 defense. This means most of your units so early in the game will not be able to do more than scratch him, if that. If you want to defeat him quickly, Eyvel with a Flame Sword (from two spaces away) will defeat him in one round assuming she does not miss. However, if you want to give the experience to someone else, you will have to rely on critical hits, Leif's Light Sword (from two spaces away), or a combination of both.
