Kevin (ケビン Kebin?) is a Machine from Foresta, where after the Verdant Planet was taken over by the bots, he made a human his pet.[1]
Appearance
Kevin is a lanky humanoid robot, wearing a turtleneck shirt. His head possesses simple features, with two pinpoint eyes and a thin mouth that stretches from side to side, resembling a smile. At the sides of his head are two dark blocky protrusions and the top features a seam resembling a blocky "M".[1]
Personality
After being infected with a virus that made him turn on humanity, the bot has since shown disdain for humans. After acquiring a woman named Audrey as a pet, he shows how abusive his treatment of her, forbidding her to talk in public, crawl on all fours, and be fed with dog food. In addition, it is shown that he is also neglectful as he refuses to allow her to bathe. It was his belief that the treatment of his human should be not less than what the humans did to machines who were often broken by the former.[1]
Synopsis
Foresta arc
Kevin, while out on a walk with his pet human Audrey, is greeted by Willem while walking his own human pet, Allen. Kevin comments on Willem's human pet's relatively healthy condition in comparison to his pet, who is poorly treated. When Audrey speaks to Allen, her former fiancé, he brutally kicks her until she collapses on the ground ignoring Allen's pleas for mercy. Willem reminds Kevin that violence is not allowed, citing it would be hard for him to repair his human if he damaged her too much. Kevin differs from Willem's opinion and proceeds to shoot him in the face. Kevin utters that machines should be free, ignorant of the pet humans' escape.[1]
